Our Story

It all began....

in 1986, when we decided to renovate and offer Walnut Cottage (a 2- bedroom cottage situated on the outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex) for hire as a holiday let. Building on the success of letting Walnut Cottage, in 2000 we decided to convert the Sussex hay barn and stables on the same site as Walnut Cottage into what is now Walnut Barn (a 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home) and offering it for hire as a holiday let also.

The development of the Walnut Escapes trio was completed in 2021 with the addition of Walnut Studio, providing another luxury bedroom with ensuite facilities and a versatile space for holding special occasions, business conferences, wellness retreats and fine dining.

Whether booked together as a complete package or booked separately, our three Walnut Escapes properties will not disappoint. We've taken infinite care in our choice of furnishings and amenities with your comfort, our focus.
